Project Highlights
Lean Manufacturing Practices has been is business since 1999 and has worked with over 300 clients across the globe. We have a straight foward approach to business - Positive results.

LMP approaches each of these assignments as a mentor, trainer and provider of project management leadership & assistance. Our experience in successful assignment completion’s of this type are achieved because of our robust timely communications, clearly defined and agreed to performance measurements, timing, and attention to detail. Communications are conducted both at the project implementation level, steering team level, and with senior management, depending on the assignment. Weekly progress minutes and updated schedule are issued, with a “to do” workplan listing of items required and agreed upon by the team members. Working with your team, we analyze your current business processes, determine the root causes to your issues, develop corrective actions, design an implementation plan, implement changes and measure the outcomes.

There are 2 types of business activities, Value Added and Non Value Added.

Value added is defined as converting a product to a more complete form per the customers specifications. This is good, it generates revenue.

Non Value Added is defined as all activities that you must peform today but does not change the form of the product. This is bad and it generates cost.

Lean Manufacturing is about understanding your NVA and finding the root causes and corrective actions to reduce or eliminate the NVA.
